Learn to Crochet with Kristy Glass

Learn to crochet with Kristy Glass is a fun filled, 3 hour class designed to get you on your hook and finishing your first project.  Students will create a big, cozy cowl and learn lots of fantastic tips, tricks and support.  No prior experience needed.  Learn a NEW craft with Kristy.

materials:  1 skein of Malabrigo Rasta and a 10mm (N) crochet hook.  You can also use Malabrigo Noventa.

What is crochet?  Teach me about wool, test different yarns, learn to chain and single crochet.  The second hour students will begin their project and get "hooking".  Hour 3 wraps up and reviews more techniques.  Students will also learn cool tricks like embellishing their crochet with  embroidery, gemstones, and pompoms.  A quick Ravelry.com class will be included if time permits.  Let's start our next project!

Additional help is available during shop hours.

Required Materials:  ALL yarns must be purchased from the Yarn Club (testing yarns will be provided by the shop and Kristy.)

1 skein Malabrigo Rasta and a size N hook.

student may want to purchase a Learn to Crochet book and other tools along their journey.

Please come into the shop 1-2 days prior to class to purchase your materials.  One of our cheerful staff will be happy to assist you.
